Congrats

Yesterday , I like hundreds of other officers up and down the country found out our results of the recent Sergent's exam.

Congratulations to all those who were successful and I will be joining you all in the celebrations of getting that under the belt and out of the way !

WHOOOOO HOOOO

I was thinking of something to post that would reflect the relief and encompass all the recent groans and pains, but there isn't . The rock keeps rolling people want us to be there the service and the officers adapt to what the public wants us to do. Each and every day officers up and down the country excel themselves and are proud of what they do. Long may it last.

So , time to go have some beers and relax and plan the next stage of taking of the world.

( Five years from probationer to passing part 1 exam... not bad for a thicko like me )

Many years ago, when I did my Scottish Sergeants and Inspectors exams, we got a wee £40 bounty each time to help celebrate....don't suppose that happens now.

Anyway, Slainte.

I had to buy donuts for everybody in the office... does that count ?

Isn't it a strange Polis tradition that the celebrator buys the fine pieces?
